While I was out and about listening to my son talking about welding supplies and welding safe clothing I realized that the person that sends out the office hours is already off for Yule travels!

Remember that we are a family friendly school so we close up for the holiday so all may do what they need to do with family and friends.

Our office hours are as follows:

December 21-28 Closed
Open 9-1 29th
Closed December 30th-January 2nd

Emails will be answered but slowly so do not think you are being ignored. Corrections will be completed slowly also.

Take the time from your studies and relax a bit

Only 5 more days until Yule. Imagine that! I keep thinking that it is still a ways off but we all know that is not true at all.

I still have decorations to put up and away and I do not see that I will have the time.
There is still so much to do with work, children events and other things that the things I want to do is piling up.One thing that I really did want and hoping that one of my children purchased is one of the decorative
house address plaques that I pointed out, sent URL's to and emails about. Yep, I put out enough hints that I am hoping they bought one!

Only a few more days to find out. I know that with everything that I have to do I will not be thinking about it until Yule!

Holidays are so special. With all the hustle and bustle of shopping and baking there is also the aspect of cleaning the home for all the visitors that will start trickling in. I really wish after looking at the http://www.thesteamteam.com/ site that I could have a company come in and clean all my floors for me this year!
It would make it so much easier and cleaner than my doing it that is for sure.

One thing that I did notice is that I needed some quick leather furniture cleaning tips before the Yule holiday hit. No matter what I do this one chair does not look bright and clean. I have looked all over the place for quick tips and nothing seems to work.

Now it's down to a point of having a professional cleaner clean it or just replace the chair completely this year. I will try one more method that I found discussing leather furniture cleaning tips and if that doesn't work, well I guess I will be shopping for a replacement!

A great way to protect your home during the Yule season is to get a clear, plastic or glass bulb filling it with protection herbs & oils. Empower the herbs and oils and hang on your tree.

Be sure to state the intentions of the bulb also.
I have heard that many use this for prosperity also during the Yule season.

Give it a try

This year will be a mixture of happiness and sadness for our family. So many big changes that are basically good but with any type of changes emotions run high.

I have been looking into special gifts that will have personal meaning for each of my children and close friends. My closest friend has always wanted to have Golden Eagle gold bullion in his possession so this year he is getting some. Everyone pitched in from the family and also the staff so he will be so surprised to see this!

Hopefully my shopping is coming to a close!

With Yule coming up so quickly I have started to think about what our winter projects will be. One thing that I have been looking into doing is reviewing quick step laminate flooring for the family room.In decorating this year I noticed that it really does need replacing!

With this house and restoring it there are so many things that need to be done. Over this winter we will be finishing the Great Room walls which is a big job and I am so looking forward in wrapping that up!

But until after the holidays my flooring will just have to do for now!

One of the vendors that we work with came into the office the other day and was talking about how he had to shop for a graduation gift for his nephew. Now, thinking that he was mistaken and just mixed up Yule for graduation we all laughed.

He explained that he was graduating ahead of the normal date as he had a very good job lined up. We had all forgotten how some students do graduate early and go back for the ceremony in June.

What a time to do it in! Not only shopping for Yule but trying to find that special graduation gift as well.

All I can say is that I am glad I have until June for my son to purchase his graduation gift!
