After taking down a few of my sons soccer trophies I stood there and looked at the bare spot that was looking out at me wondering what to replace them with.

Then it hit me. This section of the house is the only one that did not have some type of altar in it. What a brain storm I began to have. Even though they are simple shelves the storage would be perfect. I decided to make what I call a 'blend in altar'. Which is an altar that looks and feels like the rest of the room to an untrained eye.

I placed a few crystals that are over the edge in that they are huge and bulky in the center and both ends. In the center I placed fresh flowers that are entwined around some deer antlers. It has turned out really good and nobody that would walk in would be the wiser as to what it really stood for!
