Favorite Styles

They say that clothes makes the man or woman and that may very well be true. But there is one thing that I would like to talk about and that is the style of dress when doing rituals or workings.

You will see those heavily cloaked men and women with the layered long skirts or robes with the hoods. They look so enticing to wear and yes they do in fact put you into the mood. But at the same time they can be cumbersome when you have a skirt or cloak that is to long, to tight or even to loose not allowing you to focus on what it is you are doing.Being to worried about tripping, pulling or yanking something that is being worn just for the sake of looking ritualistic.

For many rituals and workings you do not need to wear anything special. The dress allows you to 'get into the mood' but does nothing else. Remember it is like being an actor you are only dressing for the part.

Be sure to hem that skirt up so you do not trip and can have both hands free when needed. There is nothing more annoying than waiting on someone that has only one hand free when they need two and waiting for them to put their skirts or cloaks down!

I am all for wearing ritualistic attire. I personally have 6 different dressings for different areas and rituals that I attend or lead. But mine are appropriately fitting and yes, still very cool looking!
