Remember Who You Are

During our travels on the paths that we have chosen we will go through many changes. Some will be good while others will be less than good. Many of the changes will be permanent while other changes will not stay with us very long at all. The one change in a handful of people that seems to occur that is astounding to this mentor is that of becoming a prophet.

These prophets have proclaimed that they see all, hear all and know all. They are lost within the trappings of the path that they have chosen and have built a delusional world that they exist in. Preaching their wisdom to anyone within ear shot. Friends and associates may humor them yet inside they are screaming 'please go away and be quiet.'

A visualization of a person standing on a corner with a bible in their hands might come to your minds. But it is not the bible carrier that I am speaking about. It is the Pagan, the Wiccan or the spiritualist that has come to believe that their path is the only path. Loosing their selves in a sea of hypocrisy. They now only spout their words, their beliefs closing off all others on the various paths. This is the same person that when they first began the travel swore to be welcoming to all others.

Please remember that your faith and practice is important yet so is remaining who you really are. Do not get caught up in the trappings of believing that you are something or someone that you are not. Most times those around you will think that you are taking nuphedragen and may need to stop!

We need to use what we learn in changing for the better not to become preachers to those that do not wish to hear us. Especially if you are acting or even dressing a little more than odd.

Be true to your path but mainly remember who you are and do not get lost while seeking your path.
