Each year we vote for the one adviser that really sets his or her self apart from the others. They have shown above and beyond skills and leadership in so many areas.

How is this calculated and who does it? At one time we based this only on the students vote but decided that was not totally fair due to there was always a little more to the yearly vote so we devised a way to do this that has worked even better.

During the year we take notes on students praise or complaints on advisers. This is tallied each month. Each month a review is also done by staff. At the end of December a review board is gathered to go over all the information that has been obtained.


Taking each individual and discussing what they did or did not do. You could look at it as though it is like a health savings account in that all information has been saved throughout the year.

Right now we are scheduled to review and announce this person at the end of January.
