There are so many ways that we are able to show our appreciation to our service men and women that serve our country. Yet what would be one thing that we can all do that can help during the holiday season? One way is to go over to the Sears Heroes at Home to read some of the wishes that have been posted. There are so many needs of the families while they are away that every little bit can and will help.

The servicemen and women wish to have their families have one of the best holiday season that is possible while they are away. There are lists of needs by those families. Such as clothing for the children like pants, shoes and warm coats.

Sears will then take all the donations and send them an amount that they are able to purchase the items that is needed. This is truly a wonderful way to show our support and appreciation for all the hard work that they do for all of us.

While you are at the site you are able to read the wishes that have been posted. There were a couple of stories that actually brought a tear to my eye.

Donating is easy to do on the site and it is safe to donate using your credit cards. This is not something that you are able to use as a tax write off. But is that all that important? You are making a service person and their family wish come true.
