We had a letter from a student awhile back on if it was important in a ritual to also colon cleanse. At first I was a little more than knocked for a loop as I have never thought of that or had anyone talk about having a colon cleansing either. I decided to ask even though I know my personal answer which I did give to this person

Most that I talked to at first thought I was leading up to a sick joke. Yes, been known to happen with me. When they found out that I was asking for real they were astounded. Asking why this would have any bearing on anything that you would be ritualistically doing? Also wanting to know what type of ritual they were doing.

We talked about this off and on for well over a week. Oh we of little lives and came up with the same answer.

NO. You do not have to cleanse your colon (pretty simple thought there) for any ritual. Cleansing your colon should be a personal choice or one that is advised by your doctor but ritually speaking? Nope. Just like I had thought.

I know we do get some strange letters and emails. Sad part is that they are filled with earnest requests for answers even though we may not know poo about the answers
