Camping and Bugs

One thing that I know that I am not the only one here that totally dislikes when camping are the flying insects that bite and sting.

Many tell of an Avon product that helps keep them away and stand behind it. I keep thinking it is called Skin So Soft but I know that is wrong

I know that we use the sprays and that seems to keep the nasty little things away. With camping there is nothing worse than sitting around the camp fire swatting away things every three seconds. Although the younger ones seem to enjoy it as it becomes a game. haha

There are many different products available. Be sure that they are safe for the smaller ones in your crowd.

We are planning a short camping trip and the bugs came to mind. My idea of camping is a nice hotel

As a very active Scout mom let me say that with the mosquitos of today you need to make sure you have a good repellent that works on ticks and even chiggers if possible. You are correct on the name of the Avon product though, the one year we used it at summer camp I had a very bitten young lady who came home.

Hopefully my daughters and I will get some camping in this summer and fall. In New England, the snow has taken its toll. We are ready to get out of the house for a while.
