Today during one of our in person classes we had an aromatic error happen. Showing how to distill certain herbs in the various carrier bases the students were all having a grand time.

Well, that is until one of them, I won't name names Sherri, flicked water in the over hot oil base. The oil popped so much I feared that it was going to ignite. While those students in attendance stood there with mouth a gap I quickly removed the splattering oil off the burner.

Now, it was bad enough that the oil was snap, crackling and popping but the smell was atrocious. My assistant starting giggling like a hyena and told Sherri that she should go to Outer Banks rentals and get some out door gear. As the smell in the room was gross.

Yes, all in the day of teaching. Sherri will no longer be allowed near anything that is hot, boiling or cooking
