One thing that we all love about spring is the re-birth of the plants that surround us. Planting new flowers and other foliage just seems to perk us all up.

With the warmer weather finally here it is time to think about your gardens. Whether it is flowers or vegetables, start planning where and what you are going to plant.

For those that are planning on herbal planting you might try starting them inside. Or plant some inside and outside your home. For those that live in an apartment, you too may also still plant a garden. Try a herb or two or even some of the flowering plants in your dwelling.

Whatever you plant, plan it out first. This way you will be prepared as to your space and the proper lighting for the plants.

This year as in the past I will be planting the herbs that I use during the winter. I love the smells and the way they bloom. Not to mention the freshness when used for either oils, powders and cooking.
