Winter Blues
Has the winter time blues got a grip on you? All that cold weather does take its toll on all of us. Personally, living in the snow and ice it works on my temperament. How do we get a handle on this?
For one thing drink plenty of water. It's funny how in the summer we down tons and tons but in the winter we neglect this simply, but important thing to do. People become dehydrated in teh winter as well as in the summer. Sometimes more so. Tending to skip the fluids because they do not feel thirsty. Our bodies need that water to replenish and flush out those toxins. So drink up gals and guys.
Of course we all know to dress according to the outside temps. Duh! How about inside dressing in bright colors? Reds and yellows. Vibrant pinks and blues. These are not just summer colors. Dress up to keep your spirits high.
Research something particular for a month. Yes, a month. Maybe you want to learn a new aura reading technique. Read up on it. Buy books, go to the library and use that inter net! Do this for a month in your spare time. Practice makes perfect you know!
Clean your tools. I mean really clean them. Polish, soak whatever it is you do. But do it. It is surprising to me that whenever I do this on a cold, wintery day my spirits seem to just soar. I feel more connected and even balanced.
Meditate. When you are feeling caged up or sulky try sitting still for 15 minutes. You will be refreshed and in a better mood.
